Slowboat will not handle personal information beyond the scope necessary to achieve the purpose of use without obtaining the customer's consent, except as permitted by the Personal Information Protection Law and other laws and regulations. However, this does not apply in the following cases:

5. Proper Acquisition of Personal Information
Slowboat will acquire personal information properly and will not acquire it by deception or other wrongful means.
6. Safe Management of Personal Information
Slowboat will take necessary and appropriate supervision over its employees to ensure the safe management of personal information to prevent the risk of loss, destruction, falsification, and leakage. Additionally, when outsourcing the handling of personal information in whole or in part, Slowboat will provide necessary and appropriate supervision to ensure the safe management of personal information by the outsourcee.
7. Provision to Third Parties
Slowboat will not provide personal information to third parties without obtaining the customer's prior consent, except in cases where disclosure is permitted under the Personal Information Protection Law and other laws and regulations. However, the following cases do not fall under the provision to third parties as defined above:

When Slowboat entrusts the handling of personal information in whole or in part within the scope necessary to achieve the purpose of use.

8. Disclosure of Personal Information
When a customer requests disclosure of personal information based on the provisions of the Personal Information Protection Law, Slowboat will promptly disclose the information after confirming that the request is from the customer themselves (if the personal information does not exist, Slowboat will notify the customer to that effect). However, this does not apply if Slowboat is not obligated to disclose under the Personal Information Protection Law and other laws and regulations.
9. Correction of Personal Information
When a customer requests correction, addition, or deletion (hereinafter referred to as "Correction, etc.") of personal information based on the provisions of the Personal Information Protection Law, claiming that the information is not true, Slowboat will promptly conduct necessary investigations within the scope necessary to achieve the purpose of use after confirming that the request is from the customer themselves, and based on the results, make Corrections, etc. to the personal information and notify the customer (if a decision is made not to make Corrections, etc., Slowboat will notify the customer to that effect). However, this does not apply if Slowboat is not obligated to make Corrections, etc. under the Personal Information Protection Law and other laws and regulations.
10. Suspension of Use of Personal Information
When a customer requests suspension of use or deletion (hereinafter referred to as "Suspension of Use, etc.") of personal information based on the provisions of the Personal Information Protection Law, claiming that the information is being handled beyond the scope of the purpose of use publicly announced in advance or that it was obtained by deception or other wrongful means, and if it is found that the request has a reason, Slowboat will promptly conduct necessary investigations after confirming that the request is from the customer themselves, and based on the results, implement Suspension of Use, etc. of the personal information and notify the customer. However, this does not apply if Slowboat is not obligated to implement Suspension of Use, etc. under the Personal Information Protection Law and other laws and regulations.
11. Use of Cookies and Other Technologies
Slowboat's services may use cookies and similar technologies. These technologies help Slowboat understand the usage status of its services and contribute to service improvement. Users who wish to disable cookies can do so by changing their web browser settings. However, if cookies are disabled, some functions of Slowboat's services may not be available.
